V40 - Abnormal Handle Bar Noise

Modified on: Wed, 16 Oct, 2024 at 4:16 PM

If you own a V40 electric scooter and are experiencing an abnormal handlebar noise, don't worry! We've got you covered with some simple troubleshooting steps to help you get back on the road in no time.

Firstly, check whether the horizontal screws are tightened in place. If the screws are loose or missing locks, they need to be re-locked. This can cause a rattling noise and affect the stability of the handlebar.

Next, check whether the three in one brake lever, throttle finger, and left and right sleeves on the horizontal side of the handle are loose. If so, reassemble them. Loose components can cause a clunking noise and affect the overall performance of the scooter.

It's also important to check if there are any foreign objects inside the horizontal tube. Dirt, debris, or even small rocks can get lodged inside and cause a rattling noise. If you find any foreign objects, clean them up.

Lastly, check if the lubrication at the abnormal sound position is sufficient. If not, increase the lubrication. Lack of lubrication can cause friction and lead to a squeaking or rubbing noise.

By following these simple steps, you can easily troubleshoot and resolve any abnormal handlebar noise on your V40 electric scooter. If you still experience any issues, don't hesitate to contact our customer support team for further assistance.
